The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Atlanta Braves on Saturday night, fueled by an offensive barrage in the second inning in which Hanley Ramirez, James Loney and Luis Cruz hit three consecutive home runs off starter Ben Sheets.

Ramirez, a former batting champion with the Marlins, is batting .322 with the Dodgers since joining the team in July. In addition to a solid batting average, Ramirez has hit four home runs in his first 102 plate appearances with the club.

On the other side of the diamond, veteran Ben Sheets posted his second consecutive bad start for the Braves. He has given up five home runs and ten earned runs in his last six innings of work.
